After optionally picking you up from your hotel, our journey will commence towards the charming town of Pitec. En route, we will traverse through traditional Quechua villages such as Unchus and Llupa, offering you a glimpse of their adobe homes and expansive crop fields.

Our trek begins with a registration at the entrance of the Huascaran National Park. We will ascend for approximately an hour and a half, reaching a rocky area adorned with stunning waterfalls. Following this, we will tackle a challenging path for about 45 minutes, leading us to the breathtaking Lake Churup (4,450 meters above sea level).

Throughout the journey, you'll have the chance to observe a diverse array of flora and fauna. We will stroll around this enchanting lake with crystal-clear waters, soaking in the spectacular scenery, allowing ample time to capture photographs and enjoy a well-deserved break.

The Huascaran National Park was designated a Biosphere Reserve in 1977 and recognized as a World Natural Heritage site by UNESCO in 1985. This protected region is home to some of the world's highest snow-capped peaks and is surrounded by numerous glacial lakes, including Lake Churup.

Finally, we will retrace our steps back to our transport and return to the city of Huaraz.
