Departing from Tilcara in the afternoon, we journey across the 42 kilometers that lie between us and Humahuaca. Upon arrival, our route takes us east along Provincial Route 73, guiding us into the cultural valleys of Coctaca. Here, we'll pause to savor a traditional coca tea before continuing our ascent to 4,200 meters. At this elevation, we are treated to breathtaking views of the multicolored Serrania del Hornocal hill. This stunning panoramic vista allows us to fully appreciate and comprehend the geography of the entire Quebrada de Humahuaca region. It's an exceptional attraction that is truly worth experiencing.
