Our adventure kicks off at 9 am from the meeting point in Tilcara. From this location, we will embark on an exhilarating journey to the Iruya Valley, reaching elevations of up to 4000 meters above sea level. Throughout the tour, our knowledgeable guides will share in-depth insights into the history, culture, and the diverse flora and fauna of the area.


As we progress, we will traverse the Valles de Altura, where ancient inhabitants have left their legacy through cultivation terraces. These age-old structures, nestled at the base of the mountains, enabled food self-sufficiency by utilizing water from springs originating at the hilltops.
