Tour Description
We begin our journey by picking up passengers from their accommodations and then proceed to the breathtaking Valle Escondido, located just 30 minutes away from San Martin de los Andes.
Upon arrival, our guide will provide a briefing on how to use snowshoes and poles, essential for exploring this remarkable area.
We will embark on a 45-minute walk through stunning Lenga forests, traversing a mostly flat path until we reach a spectacular high viewpoint. Along the way, and especially from the viewpoint, you will be treated to breathtaking vistas of the entire Lacar Lake, the Escondido Valley, the Lacar Valley (where San Martín de los Andes is located), and an endless array of mountain peaks, snowy woods, rivers, and lagoons.
This excursion is perfect for families with children, the elderly, or anyone who prefers a leisurely pace without strenuous physical activity. It offers a chance to enjoy the forest, soak in the views, and relax with minimal physical exertion. We will conclude our tour at our refuge, where we will savor a hot chocolate accompanied by an alfajor.
