Our horse and guide will lead us to locations unreachable by other means. Typically, most pathways or roads are designed not to access areas of remarkable scenic beauty, but to connect places mainly for commercial or transportation purposes.
This oversight keeps us from witnessing natural marvels that often remain beyond our imagination, alongside sites of significant cultural, geological, or historical importance.
Horses enable us to explore these destinations, usually situated far from urban centers, and in some cases, barely visited by others before.

The journey begins at your accommodation within the central area of San Martín de los Andes or from a pre-arranged meeting spot.
At our starting point, a Mapuche community guide will provide an introductory briefing covering the route, handling the horse, and the essential equipment needed for a safe excursion. Once you're equipped and briefed, the adventure commences.
The horseback ride lasts two hours in total, where we will explore the Mapuche Vera Community, experiencing its lush forests, majestic mountains, tranquil streams, and breathtaking landscapes, accessible only on horseback since vehicles cannot traverse this path.
After completing the two-hour ride, we return to our base, where you'll have access to restrooms and can relax or grab a bite to eat (food not included).
IMPORTANT:
*Children up to 6 or 7 years old ride on the same horse with a parent.
*Children approximately 8 to 12 years old ride their own horse but with the reins tied to the horse in front.
*Those older than this can ride independently.
*This excursion is rated as having a low difficulty level.
