Start this journey with the convenience of a hotel pick-up in Huaraz or by meeting us at our designated meeting point. We will travel north through the awe-inspiring Callejón de Huaylas, where each stop offers a unique blend of history, stunning landscapes, and distinctive flavors.

Our first destination is the delightful town of Carhuaz, renowned for its traditional ambiance and delectable artisanal ice cream made from fresh, local fruits (optional). Here, you can enjoy the crisp mountain air and take in the breathtaking snow-capped peaks that encircle the valley.

Next, we’ll explore the Campo Santo of Yungay, a site of profound historical importance. Discover the poignant story of the devastating 1970 earthquake that completely engulfed the town. We will delve into the remains and its cemetery, a place steeped in remembrance and contemplation.

Our adventure continues into the magnificent Huascarán National Park, home to the splendid Llanganuco Lagoon. This turquoise body of water, formed by the Orconcocha and Chinancocha lagoons, is framed by towering mountains and lush vegetation. Here, you can stroll along picturesque trails or opt for a boat ride on the crystal-clear waters.

To refuel, we’ll indulge in a delightful lunch at a charming local restaurant (optional), where you can savor the authentic regional flavors.

The journey proceeds to Caraz, known as the "City of Snow-capped Peaks." In its picturesque Main Square, we will panoramically admire the Stone Temple, and you’ll have the opportunity to sample the region’s renowned dulce de leche and traditional fruit-based sweets.

Our adventure culminates with a visit to the district of Taricá, where talented artisans will demonstrate their traditional clay craftsmanship. Here, you’ll find one-of-a-kind, handcrafted souvenirs to take home.

Finally, we will return to Huaraz, bringing with us unforgettable memories of this enchanting journey.
