Descripción del Tour:
The tour begins on Naciones Unidas Boulevard at 2:00 p.m. and from there we head to the “Middle of the World City”, where we can see the monument that divides the northern hemisphere from the southern hemisphere of the planet.
We will have the chance to live a unique experience that challenges the laws of physics within the on-site museum we will interact with different themes to understand this phenomenon that occurs at 0º latitude.
We will have the chance to learn about the Coriolis effect, the precession and nutation movements of the Earth through the Gyroscope, also discover why we weigh less in this city and learn about centrifugal force.
You will have free time to take the best photographs with one foot in the north and the other in the south, explore the sensory, photomontage and touch screen rooms where we can obtain information about the different regions of Ecuador, learning about their culture, gastronomy and tourism.
After visiting this privileged place, we can stamp our passport with the “From the Center of the Planet” stamp and then begin the return trip to the starting point in the city of Quito.
