At 7:00 am, we will gather at our designated meeting point to begin a 2.5-hour journey towards the northeast of Quito, nestled behind the Guagua Pichincha basins.
As we travel, you'll witness a remarkable transformation in both flora and fauna, and experience the shift in climate as we transition from the mountainous region to the coastal area.
Our first stop will be the Pululahua Volcano Crater Viewpoint, where we'll spend around 20 minutes taking in the breathtaking scenery and capturing memorable photographs.
Upon reaching Mindo, we'll explore the orchidarium for an hour, where you can admire hummingbirds and over 200 species of orchids. Following this, you'll have the chance to visit the butterfly garden, a must-see in the morning to observe butterflies in flight.
Next, you'll have the opportunity to engage in various adventure sports available in the area, such as Canopy, Biking, Tubing, or Buggies. Alternatively, you can opt for a scenic walk in the cloud forest, lasting approximately three to four hours. During this time, you can visit waterfalls and enjoy a cable car ride.
After these activities, we will enjoy lunch and proceed to another butterfly farm, where you'll be able to see hummingbirds and toucans.
Around 3:00 pm, we'll commence our return journey to Quito, with an estimated arrival time of 5:00 pm.
