Stay At Cuyabeno Lodge

Embark on this unparalleled adventure to discover the amazing wildlife of the Cuyabeno region. During this three-day tour, you will have the opportunity to observe a wide variety of animals in their natural habitat, including birds, monkeys, anacondas, alligators, and much more!

DAY 1

Your journey starts upon arrival at the Lago Agrio border oil tanker village. From here, a private transfer will take you to the Cuyabeno Bridge, where you will meet your guide. Lunch will be served either at a local restaurant or at your lodge.

Once your guide has registered you at the National Park, you will board a motorized canoe for a scenic two-hour ride along the Cuyabeno River, famously known as “the river of kindness”. Enjoy breathtaking views and abundant wildlife as you travel to Laguna Grande. Be sure to keep your camera ready to capture sightings of monkeys, anacondas, alligators, toucans, macaws, and much more. An unforgettable experience awaits!

Upon arrival, you’ll have a short break at the lodge before heading out to explore the stunning Laguna Grande, perfect for birdwatching and searching for the elusive pink dolphins. As evening falls, you’ll be treated to a mesmerizing sunset over the water.

Return to the lodge for dinner and unwind, surrounded by the night sounds of the rainforest, as you rest and prepare for the second day of this adventure.

DAY 2

After breakfast, set out on a brief canoe ride to reach one of the National Park trails. Walk through the Tierra Firme Forest as your guide shares insights about medicinal plants, the ecosystem, and the indigenous culture of the region.

After lunch, enjoy some free time to relax before continuing your adventure. Next, you will explore the flooded forest by canoe, observing the unique native flora and fauna that thrive in this magical ecosystem.

After dinner, embark on a nighttime wildlife search with flashlights, seeking out even more fascinating species that make the Cuyabeno their home.

DAY 3

Begin your final day with an optional birdwatching session, enjoying the sights and sounds of the jungle at dawn. Following breakfast, your return journey commences, offering one last glimpse of the incredible wildlife of the region. Travel back to the Cuyabeno Bridge and from there, board your private transport to return to Lago Agrio.
