Today, we will embark on a journey to immerse ourselves in the stunning natural beauty of Patagonia and discover one of the most breathtaking glaciers in the world.

Our adventure begins with an early departure from Puerto Natales, traveling by bus or a shared vehicle. We will leave from centrally located hotels in Puerto Natales at approximately 6:00 AM.


After navigating through the border crossings at Cerro Castillo and Cancha Carrera, our route will take us across the vast Argentine Patagonian steppe towards the charming tourist town of El Calafate, situated about 270 km from Puerto Natales. It's advisable to have all your documents ready and up-to-date for a swift border crossing.

As we journey, we'll encounter local wildlife such as guanacos and rheas, and enjoy views of Lake Argentino and the Santa Cruz River as they flow toward the Atlantic Ocean.

Traveling along the 80 km route to Los Glaciares National Park, we anticipate arriving between 1:30 PM and approximately 2:00 PM, though this may vary depending on border procedures.
