Rafting On The Rio Das Contas

The rafting adventure unfolds in the city of Taboquinhas, set along the stunning Rio de Contas. This river is renowned as one of Brazil’s top destinations for rafting, featuring exhilarating class 3 and 4 rapids.

Your day starts with a pick-up from your accommodation at approximately 9:30am. From there, you’ll travel 29 km along the scenic road from Itacaré to Taboquinhas.

Upon reaching the farm in Taboquinhas, the expert rafting guide will greet all participants and escort the group to the Contas River. On the riverbank, a rafting guide will lead a brief theoretical lesson, sharing important information about rafting and essential safety tips.

Following this introduction, you’ll set off to paddle and experience an hour and a half of rafting along the breathtaking Rio de Contas. The route includes 5 thrilling class 3 and 4 rapids: Carrossel, Fumo, Funil, Corredor Pôlones, and Salto da Pancada, covering a total distance of 3 km.

After completing the rafting activity, participants are invited to try another adventure: ziplining. The zipline stretches 170 meters across the crystal blue waters of the Contas River and is complimentary for guests, though availability may vary depending on the river level.

The return journey to Itacaré is scheduled for around 3:00 p.m.
