Jeribucaçu Trail And Usina Waterfall
Experience an authentic adventure immersed in nature, blending trekking routes through the Atlantic Forest with refreshing swims in stunning waterfalls and relaxing moments on paradisiacal beaches.
Tour Description
The day starts with the pick-up of guests from their accommodation in Itacaré. From there, the vehicle continues along the BA-001 highway, heading towards Ilhéus. The adventure begins as we set out on foot along a jungle trail.
The first stop is the stunning Cachoeira da Usina. This waterfall is named after its history as a power plant, which supplied electricity to nearby farms from 1942 to 1971. Participants will have free time here to enjoy a refreshing swim in the waterfall.
The walk then proceeds towards Jeribucaçu Beach, following a 45-minute trail through the lush Atlantic Forest and mangroves. The destination is truly worth the journey. The mix of white sandy beach, crystal-clear blue waters, and the Jeribucaçu River meeting the ocean creates a spectacular and paradise-like landscape. The beach is perfect for swimming, featuring moderate waves, while those seeking calmer waters can enjoy the Jeribucaçu River. For your comfort, there are kiosks on the sand offering a variety of drinks and meals, including the renowned grilled fish, freshly caught by local fishermen.
After free time at Jeribucaçu Beach, the tour continues to Arruda Beach, located just 10 minutes away. This beach features natural pools (depending on the tide), providing an ideal spot to relax in its warm waters.
The return to Itacaré takes place in the late afternoon, around 4:00 p.m.
