Tour Description

The day starts with a transfer from your hotel in Itacaré to the Rio das Contas, where we will board a motorized canoe and set off upriver.

During the journey along the Rio das Contas, guests will have the chance to observe the fascinating meeting point between the salty ocean waters and the fresh river waters. Throughout the trip, your guide will share captivating regional tales, including stories of a steamship shipwreck that took place during the cocoa boom.

As we continue upriver, participants can spot stunning birds such as hawks, herons, vultures, sabiás, toucans, and many more. You'll also see the lush mangroves lining the riverbanks, which are home to thousands of crabs.

After a busy year, this was just the relaxing outing we needed. Our driver arrived at our pousada at 8:02, helped us into a spotless, air-conditioned minivan, and kept the ride smooth on the country roads. Everything was clearly arranged, including the short walk and swimming time at Cleandro Waterfall. We never felt rushed or left guessing; the return pickup was exactly on schedule. A lovely, effortless day from Itacaré.

A smooth, punctual ride made our restful Itacaré waterfall day even better

Viel Abwechslung, kein Warten – so macht Brasilienurlaub Spaß!
