Join us at the Ushuaia tourist pier, where you'll complete check-in at our office before the adventure begins.
At 2:00 PM, we'll set sail on the Beagle Channel aboard our catamaran, heading northeast for roughly two and a half hours.
As we cruise, you'll witness the stunning islands within the channel. Highlights include Bird Island, where diverse bird species such as albatrosses, cormorants, skuas, geese, and seagulls abound. We'll also glide past Sea Lion Island, home to one-haired sea lions and both imperial and royal cormorants. Our journey leads us to Argentina's southernmost beacon, the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse.
Here, we'll disembark with a knowledgeable guide for about 40 minutes on the island. You'll have the chance to observe Magellanic penguins, with 40 to 45 pairs residing year-round. This location serves as an ideal habitat, offering minimal predators, ample food, and suitable ground and vegetation for nesting and breeding.
