At around 8:30 a.m., we will depart from your hotel by minibus to the Tierra Mayor Valley, located approximately 20 km from the city. At the beginning of the path is the shelter and, after equipping ourselves with crampons or snowshoes, we begin the walk where we cross large snow-covered valleys, frozen streams and centenary lengas and Coihues forests. Furthermore, the possibility of spotting foxes, condors and beavers is always latent.


After almost 2 hours we will reach our objective: the Emerald Lagoon, one of the most impressive landscapes in this region, more than reward the effort invested. 


This lagoon is located in the heart of the Tierra del Fuego Natural and Landscape Reserve , the color of its waters and its geographical location, surrounded by glaciers and mountains of the Fuegian mountain range, invites us to stop to rest and take spectacular photos b>. It will also be the place chosen to enjoy our lunch.


After recovering our energy, we will undertake the return to the refuge through a different path than the one you left. 


Finally, after another 2 hours of trekking, we will take the minibus again to return to Ushuaia.
