Descripción del Tour:

The adventure kicks off with a pickup from the city of Ushuaia. Traveling along National Route 3, we traverse the picturesque Tierra Mayor Valley, eventually arriving at the Garibaldi Pass. Throughout this roughly 50-minute journey, our guide will share fascinating insights into the history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes that envelop us. It's an ideal moment to enjoy some mates and unwind while soaking in the scenery.
Upon reaching the Garibaldi Pass, we pause to gear up for the hike. The trek, categorized as easy difficulty, spans 4 kilometers and takes a total of 3 hours for the round trip. The path features some inclines and mountainous sections with stones and mud, but the effort is well worth it for the breathtaking views of the mountain range. We ascend to the edge of the vegetation, where the stunning twin lagoons come into view, and continue our journey to rock terraces that present incredible vistas of Lakes Escondido and Fagnano.
At the summit, we enjoy a hot drink and an alfajor, recharging our energy before making our descent. We then return to the van to proceed to Lake Escondido, just a short 15-minute drive away. Here, a delicious mountain stew awaits, while we prepare the packraft boats, available as single or double, ensuring stability and ease of use. The lake crossing, lasting about an hour, aims to immerse us in the water and the surrounding environment.
If weather conditions are not ideal for paddling, we have an alternative plan. Instead, we will embark on a hike to the Velo de Novia waterfall, situated in the Olivia River area. This one-hour trek, though brief, includes sections with steep slopes and offers the chance to admire two waterfalls nestled among the rocks. We can even stand behind one and feel the powerful rush of water.
After approximately 7 hours of adventure, we will head back to the hotels in Ushuaia.
