Tren Solar De La Quebrada

Start your day with a convenient pickup in Salta, followed by a transfer to Jujuy province. This journey takes you through northern Argentina's breathtaking landscapes, offering a glimpse of the stunning Quebrada de Humahuaca. Upon arriving in Volcán, you will board the Solar Train for the 360° Experience, a pioneering and comfortable way to explore the area.

This adventure is divided into two groups: Group A and Group B. Both groups travel the same route, visit all the stations, and share the same total program duration. The sole distinction lies in their schedules and the sequence of visited locations.

🚂 Group A Route

Group A of the Solar Train through the Quebrada follows a structured itinerary, allowing you to savor each destination in a sequenced manner.

The journey kicks off in Volcán, the train's starting point, leading you into the gorge's heart. The first stop is Purmamarca, renowned for the Hill of Seven Colors and its vibrant artisan market.

The tour then progresses to Maimará, famous for its striking mountain formations such as the Painter's Palette, before heading to Tilcara, a major cultural and historical hub of the Quebrada, perfect for wandering its streets, markets, and archaeological sites.

On the return, the train passes through Posta de Hornillos, a site of significant regional importance, and later through Tumbaya, a quaint Andean village that maintains the traditional essence of northern Argentina.

The circuit wraps up in Volcán, completing a thorough exploration of the Quebrada de Humahuaca's most iconic landscapes.

Group B of the Quebrada Solar Train provides the identical comprehensive experience but in a different sequence, ensuring a more balanced visitor distribution at each station.

Departing from Volcán, the train initially heads to Tumbaya, a picturesque town enveloped by mountains and steeped in ancestral traditions, inviting you to begin your journey by immersing in the local culture.

The journey continues to Purmamarca, celebrated globally for its vibrant landscapes and cultural identity.

The route advances to Posta de Hornillos, a vital historical site in the region, before reaching Maimará, where the striking multicolored hills and the characteristic Quebrada landscapes captivate visitors.

Subsequently, the train arrives in Tilcara, one of the circuit's most dynamic spots due to its archaeological, culinary, and cultural wealth.

In the final leg, the train retraces its path, revisiting the stations until concluding in Volcán, where this memorable northern Argentina experience concludes.
