The tour kicks off with a hotel transfer in Salta, starting at 09:00 am.
Our journey takes us through the picturesque Lerma Valley, situated at 1200 meters above sea level, a region renowned for its tobacco production in Salta. As we travel, we'll explore the towns of Capital, Cerrillos, Rosario de Lerma, Chicoana, El Carril, and Coronel Moldes, providing an opportunity to learn about the fields, production techniques, and the diverse tobacco varieties cultivated in this area.
Our next stop is the Cabra Corral Dam, where we'll have some leisure time for lunch (not included). Afterward, we'll head to Finca Santa Anita. This family-run estate has successfully established Argentina's first Tobacco Museum through the restoration of unique artifacts. It also houses an archaeological museum of significant importance, displaying productive activities such as goat cheese production, pepper cultivation, and Creole tobacco. Additionally, you'll find fascinating collections of aromatic-medicinal herbs and native trees.
The tour concludes with a return to Salta hotels at approximately 5:00 p.m.
