Early in the morning, the excursion kicks off with hotel pickups in Salta.
We will journey through the Lerma Valley, passing by tobacco plantations and towns showcasing colonial architecture reminiscent of German styles, located at the former terminus of the Belgrano Railroad.
The tour includes a stop at the Posta de las Cabras before we venture into the Quebrada del Río Las Conchas. Here, you'll be captivated by the intriguing formations sculpted by wind and water: the sand dunes, the toad, the bishop, the castles, the Amphitheater, and many more!
Another must-see stop is the Devil's Throat, a rock structure that is millions of years old and one of the area's most significant landmarks. Our journey continues along National Route 68, leading us to Cafayate, the youngest town in the Calchaquí Valleys, globally famed for its diverse wines, especially Torrontés. This tour offers you the chance to visit a winery and sample these exceptional high-altitude grapes (tasting not included).
We will return to the City of Salta along the same route, but under a different sunlight that dramatically transforms the landscape of the Quebrada.
