Departure from Salta hotels, approximately 07 am.
Our journey will mirror the route of the renowned Train of the Clouds, traversing the Quebrada del Toro. Here, you'll witness a breathtaking transition in the landscape, from lush greenery to the emergence of the first cacti. Along the way, you'll observe notable features of the Train of the Clouds, such as the Bull Viaduct and the zig-zag patterns at Alisal and Chorrillo. Additionally, you will encounter sites like El Candado, El Golgotta, and Alfarcito, among others.
Our adventure continues with a visit to the pre-Inca city of Santa Rosa de Tastil, where remarkably preserved ruins reveal ancient dwellings, burial sites, and streets. We will then proceed through Finca La Encrucijada, beginning our ascent to Cuesta del Muñano and reaching Abra Blanca at an altitude of 4080 masl. Our destination is San Antonio de los Cobres, the principal city in the Andes department, where we will visit the iconic Polvorilla Viaduct, standing at 63 meters tall.
We will return to our hotels in Salta around 7 pm.
