Your journey begins when we depart by vehicle from Salta Capital heading towards Piedra del Molino, reaching an elevation of 3,348 m.a.s.l., the peak of Cuesta del Obispo and the highest point in Los Cardones National Park. Upon arrival, we gear up, and the guide accompanying us provides a technical briefing to ensure everyone's safety before we embark on the initial 20 km descent. We will take strategic breaks for photos, hydration, and to fully appreciate the breathtaking scenery.
At the base of the Cuesta, a delicious lunch awaits us, perfect for reenergizing.
We then continue our mountain bike adventure for another 20 km, entering the Quebrada de Escoipe, where the striking red rocky slabs contrast with the ochre hills, gradually transitioning into the lush greenery of the Lerma Valley. The tour concludes at the historic metal bridge known as "Mal Paso," completing a total descent of 40 km.
After packing away the equipment and bikes, we will commence our return journey by vehicle to Salta Capital, dropping you off at your accommodation or meeting point by approximately 6:00 p.m.
