Descripción del Tour:

Our adventure kicks off bright and early as we collect you from your accommodation in the city center.
Our first destination is Punta Tombo, renowned for hosting the world's largest continental colony of Magellanic penguins. Here, you can experience these charming creatures in their natural environment and stroll alongside them. Beyond penguins, the reserve teems with diverse wildlife, including guanacos, piches, maras, rheas, foxes, seagulls, cormorants, and skuas.
After some free time to explore the wildlife, following the safety tips provided by our guide, we head to Trelew to explore Estancia Las Bardas, celebrated for its artisanal Pinot Noir and Syrah wines and its vast olive groves.
We'll start our visit by touring the olive groves, where we will learn about the olive cultivation process and the production of olives and olive oil, from planting to pressing, preservation, and labeling.
We then proceed to the winery to delve into the art of winemaking. Local experts will guide us through the various phases of production, from grape harvesting to bottling, including the fermentation process and barrel aging.
To cap off our visit, we'll indulge in a brief wine tasting session paired with local specialties and regional treats. The sommelier will enlighten us on the harmonization of flavors and textures with different wine varieties and their optimal temperatures.
Finally, we'll savor a delightful lunch at Estancia Las Bardas, featuring exquisite Patagonian lamb, wrapping up a comprehensive experience in Chubut. We conclude our tour by returning to the city of origin.

The best time for this excursion and penguin watching is between mid-October and the end of March, when the colonies are in the reserve to nest and raise their young. During these months, it's common to see both adult and juvenile penguins. Outside of this season, penguins are much less frequent, so it's recommended to plan your trip for spring or summer to ensure a complete experience and take advantage of the best opportunities for wildlife observation and photography.
