Peninsula Valdés was declared as World Heritage of Humanity and contains throughout its extension different unique species that find in the area a place conducive to developing their lives. It is a full-day tour, accompanied by naturalist and bilingual guides. The first stop we will make will be at Carlos Ameghino Isthmus interpretation centre, where you will have quick references about Peninsula´s fauna, flora and geology. Also, we will visit the panoramic point of view from where we can observe New Golf, San José and Birds Island. Then, we will make another stop in Puerto Pirámides where, depending on the season, we can take the whale watching (optional) or boat ride with snorkeling (optional). Continuing the land tour, subject to season, weather or tides will be visited in different order or combined with other stops: Caleta Valdés , Punta Cantor and Punta Norte to observe elephant seals, penguins and sea lions. Land-based orca watching can be done from Punta Norte, with more chances of seeing them in the months of March and April. Also during September in Caleta Valdés (less frequently). Return to the city approximately 18:30/19:00 hs.
