Descripción del Tour
Peninsula Valdés, recognized as a World Heritage Site, is home to various unique species that thrive in this ideal environment. This is a full-day excursion, led by experienced naturalist and bilingual guides.
The journey begins at the Carlos Ameghino Isthmus Interpretation Centre, where you'll gain insights into the Peninsula's diverse fauna, flora, and geology. Additionally, we will visit a panoramic viewpoint offering vistas of New Gulf, San José, and Birds Island.
Our next stop is Puerto Pirámides, where, depending on the time of year, you can opt for a whale watching tour (optional) or enjoy a boat ride with snorkeling (optional).
As we continue the tour, and depending on the season, weather, and tides, we will visit various sites in different orders or combine them. These include Caleta Valdés, Punta Cantor, and Punta Norte, where you can observe elephant seals, penguins, and sea lions.
Land-based orca watching is possible at Punta Norte, with the best chances in March and April, and occasionally in September at Caleta Valdés.
We will return to the city at approximately 18:30/19:00 hrs.
