We will pick you up from your hotel in the city of Puno. The adventure begins with a brief safety briefing conducted by the tour guide to ensure we have all the necessary gear for a secure and enjoyable trip.
You'll head north, cycling along the picturesque shores of Lake Titicaca. The stunning scenery will offer you breathtaking views of the islands. This well-traveled route is ideal for a delightful bike ride, providing mesmerizing views of valleys, lush forests, and agricultural fields.
Lake Titicaca, located in the Andes mountains along the Peru-Bolivia border, is renowned as the world's highest navigable lake, sitting at an elevation of 3,812 meters above sea level. This lake boasts numerous islands, including the Floating Islands of Uros, Taquile, and Amantani Island, the largest on the Peruvian side.
The bike tour proceeds along the Uros Chulluni route, skirting the bay of Puno. Take in the stunning landscapes of the Uros, which feature approximately 80 handmade islands constructed from totora reeds.
We will continue our ride until we reach Viscachuni, a spot offering panoramic views of the city of Puno and Lake Titicaca. Here, we'll take a well-earned break and enjoy a snack.
