This remarkable day tour begins with a convenient pickup from your Lima hotel. We'll then head northward, leaving the bustling city behind. En route to the city of Caral in Supe, we will pause briefly for an optional breakfast.
Embarking on a journey that covers 113 miles north of Lima (approximately 5 hours), we will reach the Valley of Supe in the Barranca province, home to the renowned Sacred City of Caral.
First officially uncovered in 1948, Caral spans over 60 hectares and features significant urban developments like pyramidal structures, plazas, an amphitheater, and residential complexes. The Caral civilization dates back to the late archaic period, boasting 5,000 years of history, flourishing between 3000 and 1800 BC.
