Tour Description
DAY 1
Upon picking you up at Iquitos Airport, we will travel by road to Nauta. Here, we will board a boat heading inland until we reach the lodge. Upon arrival, enjoy a refreshing and natural fruit juice as we settle into our rooms.
After lunch, join us for an engaging discussion on the myths and legends of the Amazon jungle. In the evening, we'll embark on a hike around the lodge, searching for spiders, frogs, and various insects. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 2
Following breakfast, we'll explore the surrounding area of the lodge, visiting the resting forest to discover the local flora and fauna.
With lunch in tow, we'll embark on a boat excursion to spot pink dolphins and admire the jungle's beauty mirrored in the river, hence the name "Forest of Mirrors." We'll visit the January 20th Community to learn about their traditions and crafts.
Continue deeper into the jungle for a thrilling piranha fishing experience. We'll head back to the lodge for a delightful dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 3
After a hearty breakfast, we'll take a boat trip to Cocha Siriyacu for a fishing adventure, subject to river conditions. We'll also visit the San Jorge communities and the Artisans Women Center.
Return to the lodge, with lunch and dinner provided. Overnight at the lodge.
DAY 4
In the early morning, we'll check the fishing traps set the previous day.
Enjoy a delicious Amazonian breakfast while birdwatching. After lunch, take some free time to savor the last moments in this extraordinary location.
We'll then head back to Nauta and transfer you to Iquitos Airport.
