Tour Description

Day 1: Arrival in Manaus

Upon landing at Manaus airport, you'll receive a warm welcome and be transported to your hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to unwind at the hotel or venture out to explore the city.

Day 2: Discovering Manaus

We'll depart from our selected hotels to journey 18 km down the Ponta Negra highway to the Manaus port, marking the start of our tour. Situated in the city center, we'll first explore the port's interior, followed by a brief stop in front of the Palace of Río Negro, the official seat of the State Government.

Next, we'll visit the Museo del Indio, maintained by the Salesian Congregation, which offers an excellent insight into the traditions and customs of indigenous communities. The museum boasts a collection of over four thousand artifacts crafted by various tribes that have inhabited the region over the years. Exhibits include everyday utensils, musical instruments, ornaments, and weaponry.

Our journey continues with an external tour of the Palace of Justice in Amazonas. Commissioned by Governor Eduardo Ribeiro, this building, inspired by French and neoclassical architecture, has been transformed into a cultural hub.

The tour concludes with an interior visit to the Teatro Amazonas, inaugurated in 1896. As one of Manaus' top attractions, this theater embodies the rubber boom era's opulence, with its lavish halls, rooms, and artwork.

Afterward, we'll return to the selected hotels, concluding the tour.
