The journey commences with a hotel pick-up in central Quito or from the designated meeting location at Magic Bean (located at the intersection of Foch and Juan León Mera). From this point, we embark on a scenic three-hour drive westward through a breathtaking forest landscape until we reach the riverbanks.
Upon arrival, a professional guide will equip us with life jackets and helmets, followed by a comprehensive safety briefing. You will then be organized into teams for an intensive rowing practice session aboard the raft, guided by an expert.
The rafting adventure lasts approximately 3½ hours. Throughout the experience, you'll enjoy the thrill of navigating exhilarating white waters, contrasted by the serenity of drifting silently through lush tropical forests. Prepare to get wet and be immersed in the forest's symphony of sounds, with opportunities to observe wildlife closely.
We will pause along the river's edge to savor a delightful picnic lunch. To conclude this exciting adventure, we'll toast the day with a few refreshing cold beers before heading back to Quito, arriving at around 7:00 pm.
