Tour Description
Our adventure kicks off at 09:30 AM, with a convenient pick-up from your accommodation. We will make our way to the renowned Tayrona National Natural Park via the Troncal del Caribe highway.
Upon reaching the park's entrance in the Cañaveral area, we will disembark, perform the mandatory registration for each traveler, and purchase the necessary entry tickets.
We will continue our journey within the park with a 20 to 30-minute walk leading us to Bahía Concha. Trekking through the National Park is an unparalleled and unforgettable adventure. As you navigate the trails, you will find yourself completely enveloped by nature, disconnected from the outside world.
The walk to Bahía Concha is a serene and enjoyable path, suitable for all types of visitors. It's crucial to wear comfortable footwear and be prepared for some steep and slippery patches typical of the tropical jungle. The melody of birds and howler monkeys will accompany us throughout the journey. The vegetation is lush and varied, with opportunities to observe diverse plant and tree species, such as the cedar tree, wax palm, and ceiba.

After traversing the jungle, the rocky path leads us to the coast, where the landscape dramatically shifts; we will follow the pristine waters of the Caribbean Sea. Ultimately, after roughly half an hour of walking, you'll reach Bahía Concha. The beach is mesmerizing, with its white sands and crystal-clear waters of a deep turquoise hue. The beach is expansive, providing ample space to relax, sunbathe, and enjoy the sea.
We will relish the beach from noon until approximately 03 PM. In Bahía Concha, there is a small area where you can find shops offering food and beverages, as well as some basic amenities like showers and restrooms. The guide will provide all the essential instructions for your visit. Concha Bay is an unforgettable experience.
After unwinding on the beach and exploring the trails surrounding the bay on your own, we will make our way back to the entrance gate of the national park via the same path, returning to Santa Marta around 04:00 PM.
