Sunset Sailing Trip

The journey kicks off at the International Marina, nestled in the heart of Santa Marta's historic district, mere steps from the Malecón and encircled by the most ancient bay in South America. From this point, we embark aboard the sailboat Sonata, a vessel crafted to navigate smoothly as the Caribbean Sea gets bathed in the warm hues of the sunset.

Throughout the voyage, we will glide along the bay of Santa Marta, offering exceptional views of the city's coastal silhouette. From the water, you can admire the port, Ziruma Hill, and the colonial architecture that adorns the seashore. This sailing experience provides a unique vantage point of the city, perfect for capturing photographs, unwinding in the breeze, and savoring an included beverage.

As the sun begins its descent, the boat makes its way to Taganga Bay, a quaint fishing village that maintains its serene rhythm and natural scenery. During this segment of the journey, the sky undergoes a breathtaking transformation. The horizon bursts with colors from deep orange to violet as the sun gradually slips beneath the sea. It is among the most memorable sunsets in the Colombian Caribbean and a classic scene for visitors to this area. After the sail, the sailboat sets course back to the marina, with arrival anticipated around 8:00 p.m., as the city is already wrapped in the gentle ambiance of the coastal night.
