We will start the tour with the story of Pablo Escobar and his impact on Medellín. You will learn how the "Medellín Cartel" and drug trafficking marked a dark period in the city`s history during the 1970s.  You will learn about the challenges that Medellín has faced during all these years, until itsperiod of great recovery and transformation since the early 2000s after the death of Escobar in 1993.

We will visit the House of Memory, a research center for urban conflicts located in the heart of the city center. Here, you will immerse yourself in an enriching and educational experience, learning in detail about the recent history of Medellín. You will learnstories narrated by their own protagonists that will allow you to understand more closely the causes and consequences of thearmed conflict in the region, as well as the efforts of reconciliation and social transformation.

We will continue our journey delving into the ambitious urban planning projects that have transformed Medellín. We will know the  Inflexion Memorial Park, built on one of Pablo Escobar`s former properties. This park pays tribute to the countless victims of drug trafficking and offers a space for reflection and reconciliation. Here you will feel up close the work of the city and its effort to overcome the violent past, focusing on social development and improving the quality of life of its inhabitants.

After 4 hours of reflections and stories that reflect a brave and intense transformation process, We will end the tour with the return to your hotel in Medellín.
