Our tour to the coffee farm in Santa Elena from Medellín is a complete immersion in the fascinating world of Colombian coffee. We begin our adventure at 10:00 AM with departure from the meeting point in Medellín. Aboard our comfortable transportation, we`ll head toward the mountains surrounding the city, enjoying stunning panoramic views along the way.

Once we arrive at the coffee farm, our hosts will provide us with information about the itinerary and we`ll prepare like true coffee growers to enter the field. 

We will start with a brief historical tour of coffee, the cultivation processes in Colombia, the coffee varieties and we will recognize the process from planting to cup. The most exciting experience of the tour will be the coffee harvest, where we will dress in the traditional "chapolero" costume or "chapolera" and we`ll dive into the harvesting of ripe coffee beans. This process will give us a deeper understanding of the hard work and passion that goes into coffee production. After the harvest, we will enjoy a well-deserved local lunch, where we will taste authentic flavors of the region and share experiences with our travel companions. The culmination of our tour will be an exciting coffee tasting, where we will experience a variety of unique aromas and flavors as we learn to appreciate the qualities of each type of coffee. Guided by our expert guide, we will discover the secrets of coffee tasting and deepen our understanding of this emblematic Colombian beverage. After a morning full of learning, exploration, and delicious flavors, we will say goodbye to the coffee farm and head back to Medellín.
