Our journey kicks off at 07:00 AM at Parque de la 93, serving as the initial gathering point for our adventure. Once everyone has boarded the van, we'll proceed to our second meeting spot, where we are scheduled to arrive by 08:00 AM. Here, we'll unite with fellow travelers at the journalists' park and begin our excursion to the city's outskirts.
Around 09:30 AM, we'll take a break to explore some of the most prominent and traditional coffee-growing towns in the area. This will be a perfect opportunity to snap photos, admire the scenic views, and delve into the local history.
By 11:00 AM, we'll reach the Cafetera farm, where we will dive deep into the fascinating world of Colombian coffee. We'll discover the history, cultivation methods, harvesting, and production of one of the world's premium coffees. There will be a chance to savor some of the finest coffees in the region and learn about cutting-edge production techniques.
The farm we visit may vary based on the season and weather conditions, yet each visit will be to farms celebrated for their coffee quality, employing traditional cultivation and harvesting techniques passed down through generations. During our farm visit, guests will enjoy a guided tour of the coffee plantations and explore a wide selection of souvenirs and coffee-themed products.
Following our time at the hacienda, we'll make our way to the town market square to explore the region's fresh and traditional offerings, including a tasting of some exotic Colombian fruits. At 02:00 PM, we'll have a lunch break at one of the area's typical restaurants (please note that lunch is not included).
At 03:00 PM, we'll set off back to Bogotá.
By 4:30 PM, we'll reach la Candelaria, and at 5:30 PM, we'll conclude our tour at Parque de la 93, marking the end of our adventure.
