This experience is perfect for wine enthusiasts. Discover one of the world's most prestigious wineries and the largest in South America with our tour of the Concha y Toro Vineyard.
Recognized as "The Most Admired Wine Brand in the World", the Concha y Toro vineyard is located just an hour from Santiago in the town of Pirque. The tour commences at the Casa Patronal, a historic building dating back over a century. Founded in 1883 by the Chilean politician and entrepreneur Don Melchor Concha y Toro, the vineyard began when he imported noble French strains from the Bordeaux Region and planted them in Pirque, Maipo Valley. He also enlisted the expertise of the renowned French winemaker Monsieur Labouchere. This visionary move established Viña Concha y Toro over 130 years ago, leading it to become the leading wine exporter in Latin America and a major global brand, with a presence in more than 135 countries.
Next, we'll explore the on-site vineyards, where you'll have the chance to sample some of the grapes. We'll also visit the cellars to delve into their history and uncover the mythical legend of the Casillero del Diablo. The tour concludes at the wine shop with a tasting of their renowned wines.
This is an unforgettable experience and a must-do when visiting Santiago de Chile.
