You'll have the opportunity to enjoy the ski and snowboard slopes. If you're new to these sports, professional instructors are available to provide lessons and help you hone your skills on the snow, or you can simply take in the stunning scenery.

As we descend, and if conditions and time allow, we may visit the Pueblito de Farellones, a quaint and picturesque mountain village, where you can explore local shops and cafes.

This tour is ideal for winter sports enthusiasts eager to make the most of Chile's season, which typically spans from June to September each year, although this can vary based on weather conditions.

Descripción del Tour

We will depart from our hotel in Santiago early in the morning between 5:00 and 5:30 AM, setting off towards Farellones and Valle Nevado.

Before ascending, we will make a quick stop at a rental shop where you can acquire snow attire, gloves, boots, sleds, or ski gear (note that these are not included in the tour price).

We will then proceed on our journey, venturing into the renowned Road of 40 Curves, approximately 46 km away from the city.

As we travel, we will begin to admire the stunning vistas of the Andes Mountains. With some luck, we might catch a glimpse of Andean wildlife, such as viscachas, foxes, pumas, and condors. Midway, the eagerly anticipated snow will start to appear.

In around an hour, we will reach the Valle Nevado Ski Center, nestled in the heart of the Andes. This center boasts over 9,300 hectares of skiable terrain and more than 37 kilometers spread across 44 slopes, categorized by difficulty level.

We will have the opportunity to enjoy the ski and snowboard slopes. Beginners can take lessons from professional instructors to learn or refine their snow skills, or simply relish the stunning snowy landscape.
During the descent, weather permitting, we can visit the Pueblito de Farellones, a delightful mountain village that serves as the gateway to the ski and snowboard resorts in winter. Here, we can explore local shops, cafes, and restaurants.
We will have the chance to visit Farellones Park, offering activities such as tubing, skiing, cable car rides, and more. Entrance to Farellones Park is not included in the package and is optional. You can purchase your ticket directly on-site upon arrival.
We will have until 3:00 p.m. to enjoy the snow, scenery, and activities. At that time, we will convene at the meeting point to start our descent down the mountain and return to Santiago.
