Our day kicks off with the thrill of departing from Santiago at approximately 8:00 a.m., setting our course for the breathtaking Cajón del Maipo. As the city fades into the distance, the road unveils picturesque natural landscapes, hinting at the adventure that lies ahead in the mountains.
En route, we'll pass through charming mountain villages, such as San José de Maipo, the first town established in this region. We will pause to explore its square, diving into the rich history and culture of this local treasure.
By around 11:00, we'll reach a stunning waterfall. Here, we'll take a break to savor a refreshing coffee while admiring the waterfall's grandeur and the formidable presence of the San José Volcano, crafting a magical moment amidst nature.
Our journey continues as we arrive at approximately 12:30 p.m. in the delightful town of Baños Morales. Here, we'll take a stroll around the area, discovering this tranquil spot before proceeding to our next destination.
