We will begin our journey from Santiago at approximately 5:30 am, traveling along the renowned Los Caracoles road. Our first stops will be Portillo and Laguna del Inca, two breathtaking locations nestled in the Chilean Andes, celebrated for their stunning natural beauty and outdoor adventures.
At Portillo, a renowned ski resort and mountain retreat situated in the Valparaíso Region, around 160 kilometers from Santiago, we'll pause to explore the ski center and capture some memorable photos. This destination is famous as one of the oldest ski resorts in South America and has hosted prestigious international ski events.
Laguna del Inca is a mesmerizing lake with pristine waters located approximately 2,800 meters above sea level. Its name is rooted in an indigenous legend about Inca Roca, the Inca ruler, who grieved the loss of his son on the lagoon's shores. Encircled by rugged mountains and snow-draped peaks, the lagoon offers a picturesque and photogenic scene.
