Tour Description
Option: One-Day Trekking to Cerro Champaquí:
At the break of dawn, precisely at 05:30 am, our journey commences from the Plaza de San Javier. A professional guide will brief us on the trekking itinerary and all essential safety protocols.
We will embark on a 7-hour ascent via the Cuesta de las Cabras, steadily progressing towards the majestic mountain ridges.
Along the way, we will encounter unique vegetation, including the native Tabaquillo and Maytén trees characteristic of Córdoba's grand mountain ranges, alongside pristine streams.
Our trek will continue until we reach the summit of Cerro Lindero, where we can take a moment to rest and enjoy lunch.
<div style="text-align: justify;">Following our break, we proceed to the final stretch, a 1-hour trek to the peak of the majestic Cerro Champaquí, towering at 2790 meters above sea level.Upon reaching the summit, we'll marvel at the panoramic vistas of the Traslasierras Valley and the Calamuchita Valley from this lofty vantage point, before beginning our descent through Estancia la Constancia, concluding the adventure around 6:00 p.m.
Two-Day/One-Night Trekking Option to Cerro Champaquí:
Our departure is scheduled for 06:00 am from Plaza San Javier, following the same route as described to reach the summit of Cerro Champaquí in 7 hours, with a refreshment break along the way.
In the evening, we will enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the Don Marcos Dominguez Post, which offers shared accommodation with bunk beds, bathrooms, and hot water.
On day two, after breakfast, we will ascend to the pinnacle of Champaquí Hill, capture memorable photos, and then make our return to the town, arriving around 5:00 p.m.
