The Famatina Valley is a special place among high altitude mountains, located in the quiet town of la Rioja .
You will be able to see the impressive and the longest Cable Rail Monument in the world with 9 stations long and the famous Mina la Mejicana .

Tour Description
We will pick you up at centrally located hotels in Chilecito, from there we`ll start our journey through the Sierras Famatina by a 4x4 vehicle.
You will have a snack on board included during the journey to the La Mejicana Gold Mine.
La Mejicana has a pharaonic 35 km long Cable Rail Monument and 9 stations long from where the mineral was descended at 4600 masl to the Railway in Chilecito.
We`ll stop at this iconic and impressive place so that you can capture with your camera the amazing landscapes, rivers, and panoramic views that lays there, and walk along its trails.
After having enjoyed a full day through the wonders that these beautiful mountains hide, we will take you back to your hotel in Chilecito.
