Tour Description
At the designated time, we will depart from our selected hotels to head west, exploring the residential area, Padercitas, Quebrada, Tunnel, and the Los Sauces Dam.
From this point, we will ascend in a 4x4 vehicle to the Sierra de Velasco via a winding and rocky cornice road, reaching the mountain's edge. Here, we will pause to appreciate the most stunning panoramic views of the city, the dam, the town of Sanagasta, and the Riojan plains.
We will take our time to savor this breathtaking location and enjoy watching the paragliding and hang gliding track situated in this area. We will witness daring athletes launching themselves into the void during their flight practices.
After this unforgettable experience, we will have the option to visit the observatory for a tour (optional, not included) or return to our selected hotels in the city of La Rioja.
