Tour Description
The Arroyo La Puente Trek sets off from the entrance route to La Cumbrecita village, located in La Pampita, at an altitude of 1,420 meters. This trail invites adventurers to immerse themselves in a mountain environment of remarkable beauty, uncovering secluded spots along the way.
The initial segment of the trek moves southward, meandering through a pine forest alongside the Las Mojarras stream. The path continues through highland pampas, offering unobstructed views of the horizon and showcasing the majestic mountain ranges in all their glory.
The journey's goal is the La Puente stream, where we trek upstream until arriving at the area known as Los Corrales. Here, a striking rocky basin conceals the water underground, only for it to resurface a few meters ahead in a tranquil stream. This location exemplifies the strength and patience of nature's geological process.
After exploring this exceptional setting and savoring a meal at the basin's base, surrounded by willows and native flora, it's time to unwind. With leisure time to explore or refresh in the waters, the day culminates with a return to La Cumbrecita, carrying the serenity and splendor of the mountains.
