Tour Description

Upon your arrival at Puerto Iguazu Airport, our team will be ready to greet you at the arrivals terminal and transport you to your hotel in a comfortable van.
Full-Day Excursion to Iguazu National Park - Argentine Side
We'll start by picking you up from your hotel in Puerto Iguazu, and then embark on a 30-minute journey to the National Park. There, we'll leave the van behind and explore the park on foot and by train.
After you pass through the entrance, proceed to the “Central Station” where you will board the train that will take you to the following trailheads:
Upper Walkway: This 800-meter path is elevated to ensure minimal impact on the local wildlife. Along this route, you'll enjoy views from the top of Dos Hermanas, Bosetti, Bernabé Méndez, and M´Bigua falls, among others.
The walk takes approximately one (1) hour.
Difficulty level: low, no stairs.
Lower Walk: A 1,600-meter elevated walkway provides a ground-level perspective of Dos Hermanas, Alvar Núñez, San Martín, and Bosetti falls, as well as the Peñón de la Bella Vista. From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Garganta del Diablo and the Lower Iguazu River Canyon, giving you a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural environment and experience the waterfalls up close.
The walk lasts two (2) hours.
Difficulty level: moderate, with stairs.
Devil’s Throat: From the Cataratas Station, the train travels approximately 18 minutes to Garganta Station. The 1,200-meter walkway leads to the main balcony, where you can marvel at the most spectacular and significant waterfalls, the Devil’s Throat.
This walk takes about two (2) hours.
Difficulty level: low, no stairs.
Return to the hotel.
On the day of your departure, we will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Puerto Iguazu Airport.

Frequently Asked Questions

The tour package to Iguazu Falls (Argentine side) typically includes round-trip transportation from your hotel in Puerto Iguazu, a bilingual professional guide, and a tour of the main circuits in Iguazu National Park: the Upper Circuit, the Lower Circuit, and the walkways to the Devil's Throat (subject to operational availability). A complimentary transfer to the local airport is also arranged at pre-arranged times; please provide your flight number when booking. Park entrance fees, meals, drinks, and optional activities (such as boat trips) are not usually included. We recommend reconfirming 24 hours in advance and reviewing the specific terms and conditions of the tour package to avoid any surprises during your trip.

The regular full-day tour to Iguazu Falls lasts, on average, between 7 and 8 hours. Hotel pickups typically begin between 7:00 and 8:00 AM, with an approximate return time between 4:00 and 5:00 PM, depending on visitor numbers, the ecological train's schedule, and any partial closures of walkways. Complimentary airport transfers are arranged for late afternoon/evening flights; if your flight is very early, please inquire about early departure options or private service. You may bring luggage on board, subject to space availability. We suggest planning your travel itinerary with ample time and reconfirming the final schedule with the tour operator the day before.

For this guided tour in the Misiones rainforest, wear comfortable, non-slip shoes, lightweight, quick-drying clothing, a hat, sunglasses, a rain poncho, sunscreen, insect repellent, a reusable water bottle, and snacks. Bring cash or a card for the Iguazu National Park entrance fee and personal expenses, as well as your ID. The total hike can be 4 to 7 km on boardwalks; some sections have stairs. There are accessible areas, and the ecological train facilitates the journey, but not all areas are wheelchair accessible. Please inform us of any special needs when booking so we can make adjustments. For your safety and the conservation of the park, please avoid sandals, drones, and straying from the marked trails.

Iguazu is a year-round tourist destination. Between November and March (the rainy season), the waterfalls are typically at their most impressive, with warm and humid weather. From April to September, temperatures are milder and there are fewer visitors, making it ideal for enjoying the walkways more peacefully. Even if it rains, the tour usually operates, as the experience in the subtropical rainforest remains spectacular; just bring a raincoat and protect your devices. Activities are only canceled due to thunderstorms or preventative park closures due to flooding. In such cases, the operator will attempt to reschedule or offer alternatives, subject to availability and the current change policy.

You can book your Iguazu Falls tour online; you'll receive an electronic voucher and will need to provide your hotel and flight details to arrange complimentary airport transfers. Cancellation policies vary by price: free cancellation is usually available with advance notice (e.g., 24–72 hours), after which penalties apply. Date changes are subject to availability, especially during peak season and holidays. Reduced rates are often available for children, and in some cases, there are benefits for residents; a valid ID/passport is required. Payments are processed securely. Always review the specific terms in your confirmation for refunds, modification windows, and supplier conditions.
