To fully explore the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls, it is recommended to dedicate at least a full day. Iguazu National Park offers a vast number of trails and circuits, such as the Upper and Lower Iguazu Falls, and the stunning Devil's Throat. For the Iguazu Falls excursion, it's essential to wear comfortable clothing suitable for wet conditions. Lightweight, breathable clothing, such as cotton T-shirts and shorts, is recommended. A raincoat or poncho is useful due to the potential for splashing water, especially near the Devil's Throat. It's also crucial to wear non-slip, waterproof footwear, such as hiking shoes, to ensure good grip on trails and boardwalks. Don't forget sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses to protect yourself from the intense sun of the subtropical rainforest.
In addition to the wonderful hiking trails, Iguazú National Park offers a variety of additional activities to enhance your visit. A popular activity is the boat ride under the falls, which offers an exciting perspective from the water. Guided ecological walks are also available to learn about the region's rich biodiversity. These activities complement the experience, ensuring an unforgettable excursion.
During your excursion to Iguazu Falls, it's a good idea to bring light snacks and a bottle of water. However, the park offers several services that make your visit easier. There are restaurants and kiosks distributed throughout different areas, offering meals and snacks for all tastes. It's important to stay hydrated due to the area's hot and humid climate. Although there are options for purchasing food, having your own supplies guarantees convenience and saves time, especially on busy days.
