Our excursion kicks off at 8:30 am with a pick-up from the central hotels in El Calafate, setting our course towards Estancia Alice, which is situated 20 kilometers from the city. Here, besides exploring its facilities and observing the ranch animals, we will enjoy a 2-hour zip line experience.
Upon arrival, we will gear up with the necessary equipment for the adventure and board a 4x4 truck to ascend Cerro Frías. During the ascent, we can admire the breathtaking panoramic views that envelop us, witnessing the fusion of the Patagonian steppe and the native lenga forest. Additionally, we'll have the opportunity to spot the local flora and fauna, including guanacos, foxes, condors, and hares.
We'll reach a vantage point situated 560 meters above sea level where we will begin our zigzag descent, covering approximately 2000 meters across 5 sections. This ranks among the longest tours in South America for this activity.
After savoring this adventure for 2 hours, we will head back to the ranch, where we'll have leisure time to explore its facilities and enjoy our lunch or snack in the barbecue area, depending on the chosen option. The large windows of the venue allow us to enjoy a delightful afternoon, enhanced by the stunning Patagonian landscape.
Finally, once the excursion concludes, we will return to the city center and drop you off at your centrally located hotel.
