Descripción del Tour:

The excursion starts early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in El Calafate to go to the Los Glaciares National Park (80 km). 

An hour later, we will enter the National Park and transfer to the pier located in the port "Bajo las Sombras", from where we will embark for a 20-minute navigation through the Rico arm of Lago Argentino, enjoying impressive views of the front wall of < b>Perito Moreno Glacier.

Arriving at the opposite shore, we will disembark and our bilingual mountain guides will welcome us and take us to a small refuge where they will give us atalk about what we will be about to live, with details of the trekking and specifications about how we should behave for our safety.

We will take a walk to reach the access to the glacier and once there, the guides will give each of us a pair of crampons to put it in our shoes, these will facilitate our passage through the ice.

Once the group is ready, we will begin the hike through the Glacier. During the first stretch, we will have an impressive view of the immense ice plateau.
Along the 4 hours of walking, we will receive explanations about the flora, fauna, general glaciology of the region and also about the particular phenomenon that occurs in the Perito Moreno Glacier and eventually causes its rupture .

In the middle of the walk, we will make a stop in a sheltered place and have lunch on the ice. We will take the opportunity to rest and regain strength for the second part of the activity, during which we will be able to admire blue lagoons that form in the middle of the glacier and viewpoints that allow panoramic views of the National Park. 

Back on dry land, we will begin our descent towards the port to take the boat and sail back. 
In this stage of the tour, we will have free time to walk on the walkways built in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier and visit the balconies that show incredible views. It is the ideal place to take the best pictures!

In the afternoon, we will take the bus back to the hotels in El Calafate.
