The tour kicks off at 6:00 p.m. at the Plaza de los Pioneros in the heart of El Calafate. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by our guide, who will be waiting with an empanada and a glass for you to savor the first variety of Patagonian wine. Alongside this experience, the guide will share insights into the origins of the wine industry in the southern region of Argentina.
Our walking tour will begin as we explore the history of the city, strolling down Libertador Avenue, Perito Moreno Square, the parish, the municipality, and more.
Next, we'll make our way to the town's first house for a tasting of the second wine variety, followed by a visit to Pasaje Soto. En route, the guide will discuss the town's evolution, and upon arrival, we'll enjoy the third wine tasting while learning about the individual the passage is named after.
We'll proceed to the Parks Intendancy, where the guide will elaborate on the significance of National Parks in the development of El Calafate.
Our final stop is the Wine Store, where a cheese board and a Patagonian sparkling wine will be ready for us to toast as we wrap up the tour.
After 2 hours, the tour will conclude at this very location.
