The tour begins with pickup of passengers from their hotels in downtown El Calafate, to travel to the starting point of the excursion. The first stop is at Puerto Punta Bandera, where we will board a modern boat that will take us to the Estancia area to begin the tour. After disembarking, 4x4 vehiclesspecially equipped for this type of terrain will be waiting for us to begin a 9.5 km journey, through Cordón Feruglio, along a mountain road, which, Until recently it was covered by glaciers. During the trip we will enjoy observing landscapes of great geological attraction, until we reach the Continental Ice Shelter. From there we will embark on a walk of approximately 20 minutes until reaching the Upsala Viewpoint, located at 550 meters above sea level, from where we can appreciate the Lake Guillermo and the imposing frontEastern of the Upsala Glacier, the Ice Southern Patagonian, and the Murallón and Don Bosco Hills. After contemplating from the Lookout, we will begin another trek to descend to the Cañadón de los Fósiles, an area where you can see a large concentration of fossils, vestiges of the last marine ingression and which have been exposed by glacial action. Finally, we will travel a final stretch to reach the Estancia Cristina Valley, from where we will begin the return to the boat that will take us back to Puerto Punta Bandera, and from there, to the passengers` hotels, ending the tour.
