Descripción del Tour:

The excursion kicks off with the collection of guests from their hotels in central El Calafate, heading towards the departure point of the journey. The initial stop is at Puerto Punta Bandera, where we embark on a state-of-the-art boat that transports us to the Estancia region to commence the tour.

Upon disembarking, 4x4 vehicles designed specifically for this type of terrain await us to embark on a 9.5 km adventure through Cordón Feruglio, along a mountain path that was until recently cloaked by glaciers. During the drive, we will relish the captivating geological landscapes, eventually arriving at the Continental Ice Shelter.

From this point, we will set off on a hike of about 20 minutes to reach the Upsala Viewpoint, situated at 550 meters above sea level, offering us a breathtaking view of Lake Guillermo and the majestic eastern face of the Upsala Glacier, the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, and the Murallón and Don Bosco Hills.

After taking in the views from the Lookout, we will commence another trek descending to the Cañadón de los Fósiles, a location where you can observe a rich array of fossils, remnants of the last marine incursion, now unveiled by glacial movements.

Ultimately, we will embark on the last leg to arrive at the Estancia Cristina Valley, from where we will begin our return journey to the boat that will transport us back to Puerto Punta Bandera, and subsequently to the guests' hotels, concluding the excursion.
