Tour Description
The adventure kicks off as travelers gather at the predetermined meeting point, where our team of guides is ready to greet them with a warm welcome and a brief overview of the journey ahead. Following a detailed briefing on safety protocols and the itinerary, the group sets off towards Puerto Petunia, the departure point for this unforgettable excursion.
Nestled on the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi, Puerto Petunia is a picturesque bay surrounded by native forests, offering a stunning view of the Andes Mountains. Here, the boat awaits, fully prepared to embark on a comfortable and safe voyage.
As soon as everyone is onboard, the journey commences along the Campanario Arm, one of the lake's most scenic branches. This area, less explored than other parts of Nahuel Huapi, is celebrated for its tranquility and pristine surroundings, making it the perfect spot to unwind from daily life and reconnect with nature.
Throughout the cruise, the guides enrich the experience by sharing fascinating stories and insights about the region's flora, fauna, and geography, including information about endemic species and the historical significance of Nahuel Huapi National Park, the country's first park, established in 1934.
After roughly an hour of sailing, the boat drops anchor in Puerto Bueno Bay, a charming cove nestled among forests of coihues and cypresses. In this peaceful and inviting setting, passengers can relax and enjoy a hot beverage accompanied by croissants.
Post-refreshment, the return journey to Puerto Petunia begins. This excursion to Brazo Campanario is more than just a lake crossing; it is a sensory journey through one of Argentine Patagonia's most breathtaking locales.
