The adventure kicks off in the charming town of Antofagasta, where we will be there to welcome you.
We then set out for Carachi Pampa, an expansive salt desert that extends endlessly. This salt flat is famed for its surreal scenery and profound tranquility. Along the way, we will pass the volcanic basaltic flows, the Cerro de Colores (Colorful Hill), and the saltpeter plains.
Our journey continues to the Carachi Pampa Lagoon, a magical spot where the water's color shifts with the sunlight. Here, you can witness the Andean flamingo, a species that thrives in this ideal habitat.
Next, we venture to the Campo de Piedra Pómez (Pumice Stone Field), a vast landscape of white, porous rock formations that appear otherworldly. Here, we will stroll through the area, offering you the chance to capture stunning postcard-perfect photographs and explore this extraordinary terrain.
Afterward, we travel a total of 63 kilometers on a sandy, gravel road to return to the town of Antofagasta de la Sierra. During the return trip, you'll have opportunities to take unique photos from your vehicle.
