Descripción del Tour:
Upon arrival at Bodega Santa Rosa, you will be greeted by a family member who will lead the tour, ready to guide you on an unforgettable experience. We start with a brief introduction about the history of the winery, highlighting our 126 years of tradition and the importance of our location close to the port and the hotel zone of Montevideo. All this explanation will be given while you have a welcome drink.
In all the tasting options we will get to know the winery, and they will tell us about the production of the wine from the harvesting of the grapes to the labelling and marketing. They will also explain the famous traditional Champagne production method “Méthode Champenoise”.
A tasting option at the Winery may include a tasting of different wines with corresponding pairings in the largest active underground cellar in America. The atmosphere of the tasting is historic and makes for an incredible experience, with a selection of wines and accompanying pairings.
Another tasting option takes place in their Cave Museum, with more than 120 years of family tradition. You will learn about the history of the cellar and the place where the prestigious Fond de Cave Natural Sparkling Wine rests. The visit includes a tasting of their most emblematic wines.
The last option invites you to sit at the family table and feel part of it. You will be able to taste the best wines of the region with a three-course lunch of starter, main course and dessert. In this intimate and familiar experience, you will learn everything about the winery and its most hidden secrets, since you will have the opportunity to learn about the family tree of those who founded the Winery.
At the end of the tastings, you will have the opportunity to buy your favorite wines in the store, taking a little of your experience at Bodega Santa Rosa home.
